Misguided Sneak Peaks....

Since Melissa De La Cruz has been posting sneak peaks on her twitter, these past couple of weeks, I thought it would be nice to compile them all together. So here they are in order of how they were tweeted.

  1. Tomasia kept her position, waiting for the creature to come to her, to walk into the trap they had laid.
  2. "We should get back," Schuyler whispered. They didn't have time for this. No time for love; for each other.
  3. She got right to the point. "You know where they are."
  4. The monitor on the wall showed the vampire's face full of terror, frozen on the screen.
  5. She was going to coaz the dark angel out of his shadow.
  6. As a rule, Mimi did not enjoy the company of Red Blood boys unless they were tasty.
  7. If he wanted to, in an instant he could obliterate all of them from the landscape.
  8. "The last time the Regis took wards off, you remember what happened." Mimi didn't but she wasn't about to admit it.
  9. I can do this, Schuyler thought. I know I will see Jack again. I believe it.
  10. "If you're wrong I'm having your memory wiped and you'll never work for us again." "Promise?"

October Reading Selection

Tiffany and I have decided on the book of the month, or rather once again, the series of the month.

For the month of October we will be reading the "Fallen" series by Thomas E. Sniegoski. Any fans of "The Vampire Diaries" are probably familiar with it because of the film "Fallen" based on Book 1 that stars Paul Wesley.

So head on over to our Book of the Month page, read up on the books, and get ready for a discussion.

We will be having out discussion on "The Hunger Games" on BlogTalkRadio on Tuesday October 19th. Due to an interview that I have to prepare for, we had to push it back.

Get reading!!

Who's Going to Direct The Hunger Games?

Since we are reading the Hunger Games Trilogy this month I'd like to share with you some Movie news about The Hunger Games. A big thanks to Levi at WeLoveCult for tweeting a link about Lionsgate narrowing it down to 3 possible directors to Direct The Hunger Games.

The HG trilogy  is a hot commodity in the film making sense. Lionsgate is currently trying to get this production up and running as fast as possible. They've narrowed their list of potential directors down to 3 possible choices. Their choices are Sam Mendes, Gary Ross and David Slade.

To read the full article click here.

So which of the 3 possible directors would you like to see take on this film?
